ABOUT THE OWNER: Nikki Murray is a licensed makeup artist and aesthetician and the founder of Aligned Beauty & Wellness. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018, Nikki began her journey toward paramedical tattooing to help others feel whole again after reconstruction. She is certified in 3D Areola Tattooing through the Housley Institute in Cincinnati, OH, and combines holistic spa treatments with medical aesthetics to promote healing and confidence. Outside of Aligned Beauty & Wellness, Nikki is a proud mother and creative professional who also serves as the Lead Makeup Artist at Terror At Skellington Manor in Rock Island, IL SUGAR WAX SERVICES: Nikki is proud to be one of the few estheticians in the Quad Cities offering professional sugaring as a primary means of hair removal. Sugar Wax is a vegan and organic alternative to regular hard and soft waxes that is ideal for clients with sensitive skin, or who are more prone to ingrown hairs. Benefits of regular sugaring: • Hair will grow back finer and softer with regular sessions • Sugar Wax is removed in the direction of natural hair growth, making the experience generally more comfortable than regular hard or soft wax. • Sugar Wax adheres to the hair follicle only, and will not overly irritate the skin. • Sugar Wax is 100% vegan and organic and consists of three ingredients - water, sugar, and lemon juice. Our wax, pre-care, post-care, and homecare products come from Sweet and True Sugaring Co. AREOLA TATTOO INFORMATION: For those interested in our 3D Areola Tattooing services, a consultation is required prior to your procedure to discuss medical history, healing stages, and desired results. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of your consultation, which is applied towards the final cost of your tattoo. PRE-PROCEDURE GUIDELINES: • Clients must be a minimum of 12 weeks recovered from their final reconstructive procedure. • Clients should receive clearance from their Surgeon/Doctor/Oncologist before proceeding with areola tattooing BRIDAL PARTY INQUIRIES: Nikki is honored to have helped many brides feel their best on their big day.
